There seem to be very few pictures of the Lleyn floating around, so I've put together a page of some of the ones I've taken over the years. If you'd like to see some more of Anelog and Bardsey you could pay a visit to More Views from Anelog.

Shearwater Coastal Cruises operate out of Pwllheli and run scenic coastal cruises down the Lleyn Peninsula, including the circumnavigation of Bardsey Island, looking at seabirds, seals and dolphins and sometimes venturing up past Anelog as far as Maen Mellt.

St Hywyn's Church is the local church to Aberdaron, and sits in the heart of the village.

A site worth visiting is Ynys Enlli - Bardsey Island, a site maintained by Nick & John Hawkins. You can find out a lot more about Bardsey here, and see some really fine photographs of the island too. There's more about the Lleyn and Bardsey here

You can find pictures of the church at Aberdaron here. They're fairly huge files but, happily, there are also some thumbnails. You can read a little more about the village here. Alternatively you might want to find out about accomodation in the village. In common with much of the UK, Aberdaron experienced heavy flooding in October 2000. Here are some pictures of the floods

Strongly recommended is the Aberdaron Community Site. You'll find out more about the village there, and be able to view some VR Quicktime movies.

R SThomas was once the vicar at Aberdaron.

Hellsmouth is just along the coast from Aberdaron, and if you visit that site you'll even find a surfcam. I always enjoy checking what ther weather's like on the peninsula when I'm not actually there.

If you're feeling energetic, and are into climbing, you could try Mad about Mountains - a site which, amongst many other mountains, covers all the Welsh Marilyns - from Bardsey to the Black Mountains.

You could go here for early Medieval Wales or here to go straight to Medieval Gwynedd. Both are fascinating sites.

Oriel Cambria is a lovely site. Created to promote Welsh art and artists it holds a range of exhibitions - both in the main gallery and in the artists own studios. There's some beautiful work there.

Finally, at least for the time being, you might like to check out a site of Nature Reserves - if you click here you'll find their page for Bardsey Island.
